Chapter History

 
 

The Malcolm Hunter Chapter was founded in February 1980. Our namesake, Malcolm Hunter, was born about 1755 in Virginia and died in Bledsoe County, Tennessee after 1815. He served in the 8th District militia under Lt. William Bryan of Botetourt County, Virginia n 1781. Malcolm lived in that area which later became Montgomery County, Virginia.
